Anybody have recommendations, ideally with photos ??? Published By: Claybirds Re: Tikka T3's in non-factory stocks !!!! - 07/09/14 Are you preparing on selling the factory stock? I'm trying to find one for my child's T3, I'm preparing on having one cut down. PM me if your seeking to sell. Depends on which path I take truly. If I decide on a wood or laminate stock, no... I'll keep it for my western mountains hunts. If going the method of composites, then yeah. Wish to get input and pictures first however, before choosing. Posted By: 7mm08fan Re: Tikka T3's in non-factory stocks !!!! - 07/09/14 Take a look at the Bell & Carlson Medalist.
B&C certainly much heavier than the original but it's a good stock. Published By: Take_a_knee Re: Tikka T3's in non-factory stocks !!!! - 07/09/14 Just put a 7mm Rapid eye movement Mag T3 Fluted Superlight on layaway at my regional Sportsman's ...... incredible rifle, worst stock I've ever had the annoyance of looking at/feeling/handling. And here I thought my old Savage was bad ... The Tikka has, IMO, good ergs, and the lower arm is stiffer than a B&C. If you desire genuine upgrade, get a Mc, Millan. Tikka T3/T3x/T3 Lite Bull Barrel Stocks
Not to discuss some of the injection formed after markets. I have 6 of the T-3 Stainless Lite rifles and have actually had zero problems with the stocks. Have a Remington 7 in a plastic stock that I can twist like a damp noodle. I have the B&C Medalist on 2 rifles (not the Tikkas)...

Finest of luck, Mike Posted By: JMR40 Re: Tikka T3's in non-factory stocks !!!! - 07/09/14 The Tikka synthetic is probably the very best of the factory synthetics. B&C would be a downgrade IMHO. The entire point of buying a Tikka, especially a superlight is to own a light rifle. Why put a heavy laminate stock on it.
